André Lamont Morton pursues his career as a filmmaker in NYC.
Growing up in Brooklyn, Andre nurtured his love of the arts performing with local rock bands at CBGB’s, Wetlands and Coney Island High, before moving across the coast to attend Berkeley City College’s Multimedia Program where he won a STAND grant from San Francisco’s Film Arts Foundation. He moved back to Brooklyn and received a Masters Award for Excellence in Cinematography from CUNY’s Brooklyn College for his work in the shortform narrative field.
André resides in Brooklyn, where he works as a freelance content creator for companies like Sony Music, Johnson & Johnson, Mount Sinai Hospital, Travel Channel, Red Marble Media and has worked with recording artists Jay-Z and OK Go.
In 2014 he staged a hypnotic video installation Parallactic Discord in collaboration with avant garde composer and musicians Scott Thompson and Ian Menard.
He recently completed principle photography on the theatrical feature Brand New Old Love starring Arturo Castro, Aya Cash & Josh Brenner.
